Wholefood Ingredients

MindChamps’ bespoke wholefood ingredient criteria ensure our Chefs use high quality, fresh ingredients with minimal processing, free from additives and preservatives, to provide optimal nourishment for growing children. Our meals are low in added sugars and free from added salt.

Balanced Nutrition

Seasonally reviewed by our nutrition team, our MindChamps wholefood
menus offer a diverse selection of nourishing foods from the five food groups, including wholegrains, lean meats, omega-3-rich fish, legumes, beans, fresh vegetables, fresh seasonal fruits and natural dairy. These nutrient-rich meals provide essential nutrients including iron, calcium, zinc, iodine, folate, vitamin A, healthy fats, carbohydrates, fibre and protein, supporting children’s optimal learning, growth and development.

Vegetable Variety

Did you know that only 1 in 20 Australian children eat the recommended servings of vegetables each day! To exposure children to vegetables and encourage intake of this important food group, our menu offers vegetables 4-5 times daily and our dedicated team actively work with children to increase vegetable variety and acceptance.

Allergy and Vegetarian Options

We offer specialised allergy and vegetarian meal plans for children who require these. Each meal plan is carefully crafted to ensure children with special dietary needs receive a complete spectrum of minerals and vitamins to support their growth, development and learning.

Introducing Solids Programs

MindChamps is leading the way by offering a comprehensive introducing
solids programme for babies in our care. Our specialised meal plans are designed to
suit each baby’s individual starting solids journey. From purees to finger foods, we provide a wide variety of tastes, textures and flavours in developmentally appropriate forms, through our 4-6 months, 6-8 months and 8-12 months menus, helping babies to establish lifelong healthy eating preferences from the first mouthful.

Nutrition Education

We offer a comprehensive nutrition education and behaviour program for our
team, which includes training for chefs, educators, centre directors, and families. These ongoing training programmes are focused on upskilling our team on childhood nutrition, from creating supportive mealtime environments for children to fostering healthy relationships with food, building nutrition literacy, fussy eating support, ensuring safe food preparation and handling, allergy management, and more!

Supporting Fussy Eaters

Our educators are trained to manage fussy eating and create supportive mealtime environments that nurture lifelong healthy food preferences in children. Our menu features a diverse range of flavours, textures, and cuisines, designed to encourage children to try new foods and expand their food acceptance.
