We love to celebrate the significant women that make up our MindChamps community every day – but especially on Mother’s Day!
When we think of Mother’s Day, we often think of spoiling these women with presents, food, or something special to let them know just how much they mean to us.
That’s why I wanted to share 4 of my favourite Mother’s Day treats that are delicious, healthy, and super easy for little ones to create and ‘surprise’ you with – without making too big a mess in the kitchen.
Whatever you choose to do this Mother’s Day, I hope you get to put your feet up, relax and enjoy all the good things about this very special day.
Mandy’s top 4 favourite treats for Mother’s Day
1. Strawberry Mousse Cups
These delicious and decadent Strawberry Mousse Cups are a fantastic recipe for the kids to help prepare – and something the whole family can enjoy. Wonderfully pink, your family can get a little creative with the different layers to add some flair and fun to the process. I’m not supposed to know, but this is what I’ll be waking up to, thanks to my kids!
2. Raspberry Cupcakes
What would Mother’s Day be without cupcakes? Soft and fluffy these Raspberry Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting are one of my all-time favourites to make and enjoy!
My kids also love mixing the ingredients together and licking the cream cheese frosting bowl – I mean who doesn’t?
3. Strawberry Hearts
A no-fail recipe for all those partners who aren’t particularly kitchen savvy – these Strawberry Hearts can be made in a sinch. Keep it simple by cutting the strawberries in half, dipping them in chocolate and adding whatever toppings you love!
You can even slice them apart and join them with added chocolate, peanut butter, or tahini, before dipping them in chocolate to make an even bigger heart.

4. Mother’s Day Tasting Platter
If sweet isn’t your thing, why not request a Tasting Platter full of your favourite dips, crackers, cheese, fruit, and veggies?
Your family can have some fun arranging them all together before sitting down to devour the board as a family – with a refreshing beverage of choice of course!
